SEBASTIAN KOENIG takes us on poetic journeys that inspire us to see the world with loving eyes. The interplay of closeness and distance is the quintessence of his photography – you can experience this in his HOMMAGE project. Tarifa, just 12 kilometres from another continent, radiates a mystical unfamiliarity that is intensified by the onset of another culture and world. HOMMAGE has a special emotional meaning for Sebastian, as he has never been to this place, but always knew he would be there one day. It was an arrival that didn't feel foreign, but like a reunion.
